Elizabeth Ponder, DDS
Dr. Elizabeth Ponder Memory is a dedicated general dentist with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University, where she fell in love with the culture, charm, and community of New Orleans.
She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine before returning home to complete a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. This advanced training provided extensive experience in comprehensive dental care, emergency treatment, and caring for patients with complex needs.
Today, Dr. Elizabeth is proud to serve the community she calls home. She lives in Lakeview with her husband and two children, and she especially values the opportunity to live and work in the same neighborhood she loves. Her approach to dentistry is centered on building lasting relationships, helping patients feel comfortable, and creating healthy, confident smiles for every stage of life.
Edward E. Levy III, DDS
Dr. Edward Levy has proudly practiced dentistry in the same location since graduating from dental school in 1978, continuing a family tradition of caring for the New Orleans community. He took over the practice from his father, who also practiced in the historic Signorelli Building, creating a legacy of trusted, neighborhood dental care that spans generations. For many years, Dr. Levy worked alongside his sister, who served as the practice’s hygienist, making this truly a family-centered office built on lasting relationships and personalized care.
Today, that tradition continues as the practice enters its next chapter under Dr. Elizabeth’s leadership, preserving the same commitment to treating every patient like family.
Lacie - Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in New Orleans, Lacie brings a little Southern charm and a lot of passion to every smile she cares for. She Graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2012. With 14 years of experience as a dental hygienist, she’s known for her gentle touch, attention to detail, and ability to make patients feel completely at ease. She believes dental visits don’t have to be stressful and loves helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and actually good about taking care of their smiles. Whether it’s educating patients on oral health or just sharing a laugh during an appointment, she’s all about creating a positive, easygoing experience. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and their dog. Her strong roots in the local community and dedication to patient care make her a trusted and valued part of the practice.
Elizabeth - Office Manager
As Office Manager, Elizabeth Avalos brings over 10 years of experience, with 5 years specifically in managing a dental practice. She is also a certified E.D.D.A., having spent 5 years as a clinical dental assistant before transitioning into leadership. She pairs deep expertise with a compassionate, caring touch. Elizabeth is devoted to ensuring each patient feels truly seen and supported, making every visit smooth and stress-free. Outside the office, she treasures time with her family, enjoys yoga, and loves getting lost in a good book. She’s committed to making every patient feel supported and at ease throughout their visit.
